The macro-roughness exhibits a roughness profile of 20 to 40 µm with a micro-roughness of 2.0 to 4.0 µm. The surfaces in the endosteal section are sandblasted with corundum (> 99% Al2O3 = aluminium oxide) and acid-etched.
